Straddling the fence on what you believe and how you reside will cause the two to eventually collide. Both must coincide to maintain a healthy stride. For a man with one watch knows what time it is, but a man with two is never quite sure. Knowing where you stand in life, will ultimately help you endure.
Plenty of people go through life living based on the status quo and not firmly in what they believe in. In fact, most people believe in nothing greater than themselves and struggle through life because they never grasp the principles that actually govern it. You have to be real with yourself and confident in what you believe in to have a healthy self-esteem. When I say be real with yourself, that ultimately means understanding that you are moving against the grain and will encounter static along the way. You have to be prepared to stand your ground and withstand pressure applied against your character. When you root yourself in solid things you don’t detach when the winds sway.
